Delicate white snowdrop flowers, and fresh green daffodil shoots, herald that, although winter isn't quite behind us, Spring is on the way. The world is waking up, and between now and the Summer Solstice, in June, it's a great time to have an outward focus, to be active, to set projects in motion and to get your ideas out into the world. Nature's sap is rising and so too can your yoga practice encompass this sense of anticipation, excitement, and new beginnings. Taking action and living your dream takes courage, so the February Yoga practice below includes affirmations to build up your strength, courage, and resilience enabling you to make the most of this fertile time. Remember to balance your outward activities with regular mindfulness meditation practice in order to stay in touch with what is spiritually important to you in the midst of all this activity.
